Pretty Little Flowers

"Aren't crochet flowers just one of the prettiest piece of craft ever? I have yet to see an 'ugly' flower; hopefully never. This pretty little flower is as cute as can be and a lovely piece to accessorise your hats, headbands, tops, or even make them into a garland. All you need is yarn and hook of choice, the bigger the yarn weight, the bigger the flower. Single and Double crochet stitches are the requisite for this pattern and that's all you need to make this pretty flower."

Easy

Crochet HookE/4 or 3.5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)

I can think of so many uses for these little flowers. I love the fat centers! The designer has chosen to make the centers the same color as the petals, but they remind me of Echinacea (Cone Flowers), so it would be easy to change the colors. Being as tiny as they are, these would be perfect on a baby headband (as shown) or a pair of booties.

Now THIS is the ultimate scrap buster if I ever saw one. No color is the wrong color. In fact, if you have variegated yarn lying around, it would be the ultimate. Make barrettes with these flowers. Make a headband with these flowers. How about a string of garland or curtain panel tie backs?
