Round Crochet Bag with Tassel Pattern
"We’re ultra excited to share this bag with you. We wanted to design something you could take along with you to lunch with your girlfriends, or to a night out on the town. It quickly became a favorite design – and we want to take it everywhere. You’ll need to grab three skeins of yarn in your favorite color, and get crocheting. You can pick whatever color matches what you wear most. Classic black? A complimentary tone? We went with blue, to bring out a nautical vibe."

This round crochet bag is really fetching. After reading the directions I am fully aware that it will not be my perfect bag but I think I can use it as a statement piece when I go out to social gathering. For me, it is not a typical everyday bag but I love it.

I have a certain style in bags and this is not anything like any purse I would carry but I really like it. I love my purses or bags to have compartments so I would probably just pass this one by in the store. However, because of its uniqueness I can not help myself, I really want to make this in a tone appropriate for the fall as I have totally missed the spring and summer season.

This is a wonderful Beginner project, and something to do with a circle besides making a hat! You could work that circle in one color, or use cake or variegated yarn for a completely different look. That fat tassel adds an air of sophistication as well as the opportunity to learn a new skill, too. Or for a bit of whimsy, swap the tassel for a keychain!

For me, I would like to see this with a wide and thick white cotton rope handle, or my second choice is a bamboo handle. It is not necessary by any means, because the bag itself is tiny and will not be heavy- so a crochet handle would work just fine. It is totally up to you! But I think if you are really going for a nautical theme... rope handle!
