"The Woodland Bunny Granny Square is a part of the Woodland Afghan Series by Maria's Blue Crayon. The afghan is comprised of 10 different Woodland themed granny squares and joined with solid granny Squares. The Woodland Bunny Granny Square makes a great addition to the afghan, or can be used alone for a bunny/rabbit themed blanket or any creation of your choice. The pattern calls for safety eyes, but can be easily substituted by creating a french knot for the eye. You will find all 10 Woodland themed squares on the website."

This is another motif in the designers afghan project. Its very easy to work this and the stacked circles adds to the three dimensional look of the appliqu. The designer uses Pipsqueak yarn for the tail, but a well constructed or commercial pompon would work equally well. The designer also suggests substituting a French Knot for the safety eye if thats not available.
