Stained Glass Blanket

"The Stained Glass Blanket is a must make blanket to add to your list. This blanket is simple to make but has a beautiful texture and I am huge lover for designs that have gorgeous texture. Another thing that I love about this blanket is that it is the perfect blanket to use pops of color to create the stripes. This blanket also is quick to work up and you will be making the Stained Glass Blanket for everyone!"

This Stained Glass Blanket is so sweet! I love the shell texture and so will babies or anyone. The colors she used go great together and I like the shape of this one. I think I would add a simple border to this one to clean up the lines. I have saved this one and will be coming back to make it after I do my must make list. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet blanket pattern.

This project is so simple to work up although I would choose some brighter colors than depicted in the sample. When I think of stained glass, I think of the jewel tones of a cathedral window. The entire project is based on the Block Stitch, so be prepared for a long starting chain. You cant really work a Foundation Row here, so get out those stitch markers.
