This Ripple in Time throw is very pretty. By using the Caron Chunky Cakes by Yarnspirations, you get a beautiful product without a lot of effort. These new yarns are wonderful and I can not wait to make this throw. I love the mistic chip but there are other colors to select from. Sky is the limit.

This is a really impressive throw. Take a look at the difference from the beginning and end compared to that of the middle. Caron Chunky Cakes by Yarnspirations sure does make a beautiful throw. A quick google search show that the cakes come in at least 42 colors. The mystic chip but I am really liking the bumbleberry.

Love the look of this Ripple in Time Throw! I'm learning to love working with the chunky yarns and haven't use Caron Chunky Cakes yet, but I'll have to keep my eye out for it. This pattern is well written and easy to follow with a great video at the end to help whoever needs it. I love the different stitches used making nice textures. I've saved this one and will be coming back when I get the yarn. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet throw pattern.

Doesnt this just look lush? Between the oversized hook and Caron Chunky Cakes, it wont take that long to work up this cuddly throw. We have one in our living room that has seen better days, and despite its many years of service, it might be time to retire it to the doggie bed instead. I have a shopping trip planned for this weekend, so I think I might pick out some new yarn just for this project.

What a great way for me to try out the Caron Chunky Cakes. She has successfully incorporated blocks of different stitch patterns within one throw blanket, and it makes such a great impact. It is a great statement piece! Do you have a blanket in the trunk or in the back seat of your car? I think this one would be one worth cuddling up with on those late summer road trips -)
