Easy Primrose and Proper Crochet Blanket Pattern

Easy Primrose and Proper Crochet Blanket Pattern
Easy Primrose and Proper Crochet Blanket Pattern

Spring is coming on, and the easy, Primrose and Proper crochet blanket pattern is just the project to help you welcome it! It's lacy stitch design is feminine and delicate while providing just the right amount of warmth for chilly spring days. Even if you are a beginner this easy crochet blanket pattern is one you'll be able to figure out quickly. I've included instructions for a simple boarder, but feel free to add a different one if you so desire. See the "Additional Notes" section for sizing options.

NotesYou will know how to identify and work in the "3rd loop" of an hdc. After turning, work all stitches for that row in the 3rd loop of the hdc from previous row (it will be in the front). Instructions: Look at the top of the stitch, and locate the sideways “V”, bend the stitch to look at the back*, and you should see another “V”. You’ll be working into the back loop of that “V”, this is called the 3rd loop. *When working in rows, this loop will be facing you! A brief video tutorial is included for this stitch.

This is a lovely textured afghan, and if youre not ready to work up the entire thing, do work up her dishcloth version at least. Ive always found that working up a swatch gives me a good idea of whether or not I like the results. I hate to invest a lot of yarn and time into something and then rip it out because it didnt meet my expectations. The designer has included several other Prim and Proper projects at the bottom of the page, too.

What a sweet and easy way to get a great looking blanket. This Easy Primrose and Proper Crochet Blanket Pattern is one to keep! I like that she did a video explaining how to crochet in the 3rd. loop, without it, I thought you would of crocheted into the back 3rd. loop. This way makes a very different looking pattern and I love the swatch I made. There are so many ways to use this my mind is racing. For now I'll just do this easy blanket for a baby size. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet blanket pattern.
