It is that time of the year again. Living near a beach is a wonderful thing because I am one of those that love to walk barefoot. These barefoot sandals are just the thing to lounge in under the sun-brella while enjoying a good book. I always get compliments on the barefoot sandals I already have. I can not wait to add this to the collection.

I am really liking this design for a barefoot sandal. The colors of sunflowers always brighten up the day and these little barefoot sandals will surely brighten up any beach or pool party outfit.

I have some major issues with my feet so projects like these are out for me, but my teenage granddaughters love them. Ive already given them several different styles, and they love to make them to match their beach outfits. Im more than happy to work up a sample or two and ship them off with enough yarn to make some more for their friends.

She's got a really unique and cute green apple crocheted necklace featured at the bottom of her blog which I am interested in seeing. I will have to check here on this site to see if it has been posted. Now, as for the sunflower barefoot sandals- they look difficult. But when I went through the step by step with pictures, it turns out it is easy-peasy!
