Jeep

search

"This crochet jeep will make every little boy(or even girl) happy. It is a nice addition to every hat or any toddler garment and takes only a small amount of yarn (if you have scrap yarn left from another project this is where to spend it). Although the yarn and hook size does not matter for this project using small hook and yarn with good stitch definition like cotton will create better result. You will need small amount of black, white, yellow, red and whatever other color you choose for the jeep body."

I always appreciate finding new appliqu patterns, especially ones geared toward boys. This is a great project for practicing your color work, too, as it calls for individual small balls of yarnno need to carry here! The only thing that threw me as the designers use of mc as a stitch when working the wheel. I finally figured out that she meant MC, i.e. Magic Circle!

How cute is this? The designer did a great job with this pattern and has a true gift to be able to come up with this idea and then put it in a pattern. Instructions are given in great detail. There is only one photo shown on the blog of the Jeep after completion. I would liked to have seen some photos of the project in the works or maybe a video tutorial too.
