These adorable little accessories would make wonderful appliqus as well. Its a very simple pattern to follow, so just about any beginner would be able to make this. The pattern calls for crochet thread for the earrings, but you could use regular 4 ply for an appliqu. Remember that your hook size determines the finished size, so adjust accordingly.

These are really cute. There are a few hot cocoa fanatics on my Christmas shopping list. They could be made into coffee mugs for the coffee drinkers out there. If it is ok I would like to add these to my local craft fair tables.
