Dew Drop Necklace
"Tiny puff stitches form a chain of delicate “beads” with simple flower embellishments. Easily customizable, this necklace can be a special occasion showpiece, or an everyday wardrobe staple. It’s great for gifting and craft fairs too!"
NotesThere are many ways to customize this necklace: Use a clasp for a short necklace, or make it long enough to go over your head. Add beads or other decorations as desired to the center of each flower. Try using different color thread for the flowers too. Use your choice of pendant or charm on the drop part of the necklace, or change them out for different looks. You could even make an extra small flower and attach that to the bottom instead of a pendant!
While this pattern is written for thread, it would also work well in a lace or fingering weight yarn, for a more casual look.

I like that the designer has provided opportunities to create this in different ways. The option to create one of each, short and long and pair them together.

My first cousin Charlotte loves to wear neckalaces. It has become my pasttime to make sure I make at least one new crochet necklace to gift her on her birthday. I think I have found the one I will make for her this year. This is so simple but can be worn with casual or dressy clothing.

I have a metal allergy, so I love to discover new jewelry patterns. This is one of the best! The instructions are very thorough, and there are just enough photos to get the job done. The designer has also provided links to tutorials for the special stitches that are included in this project. Not a difficult project, but it could be challenging if you dont normally work with thread.
