I know it says to use a DK 3 yarn, but could I make this using a simple cotton yarn? This is a nice looking bracelet with a very interesting texture that is created with some relatively stitches. Might be a fun thing to try something new for myself as I don't normally make bracelets.

This is a very simple pattern for a Bobble bracelet, but by using the hemp cording and adding the beads, you get a very different look. I didnt have any hemp cording handy, but I did have some smooth jute macram twine. I added wooden beads instead of the metal. It worked up beautifully, but I would worry that it might become itchy over time. Ill look into the hemp cording the next time Im in the craft store.
