So neat that there are now boot cuffs that are added to the complete set of the Autumn Sky collection. There is a shawl/cowl and a beautiful hat with a pompom. Add to that these boot cuffs and you have got a VERY thoughtful gift set for your friend or loved one that cannot compete with what is being sold at the big box stores. If you haven't bought the Mandala yarn as of yet, consider getting started with these!

This is just a lovely pattern and the choice of yarn really sets off the stitches. Btw, what the designer is calling a Kernel Stitch looks suspiciously like at least part of the Star Stitch. I had to work the two side by side and the only substantial difference is stopping at three loops for the Kernel whereas the Star uses five. She has also posted a very nice photo tutorial on the stitch itself.
