"Wrap your holiday tree in the simple elegance of this textured tree skirt. It’s made in Red Heart Holiday yarn, which is soft and puffy with a festive shimmer. Moss stitch gives the main portion of the skirt a subtle texture, which is separated into wedge shapes by lacy corner increases. Your holiday tree will look absolutely glorious with the laid around it with the presents piled on top, but that could be an issue with the white yarn getting dirty especially if you have a real tree or kids or pets at home. I would see me switching the colors around and maybe using a multi color for the main portion.

One of my sisters usually decorates her entire tree using white ornaments and simple ribbons, and she would just love this tree skirt! I have the Holiday yarn the designer recommends, but Ill probably use some Caron One Pound as that brand seems to give me more denser, sturdier fabric. I know Ill lose some of the sparkle, but hopefully the Spike Stitch texture will make up for it.
