Ultra-fast to make and charming, these lovely crochet gift tags look great and so unexpected on wrapped presents. Afterwards they can adorn a table top tree as cute ornaments. Just small bits of yarn are all that are needed. Personalized with a sentiment of the season makes these extra special.

A good friend of mine solved the wrapping paper problem by sewing up several simple drawstring cloth gift bags. She assigned one or two motifs per each family member, so after they opened their gifts, she collected them to be used next year. These tags would make the perfect accompaniment to the bags. No need to personalize them (although this could easily be done along with the date), and I love the idea of using them as tree ornaments.

Great idea. I can make up a bunch for the grand kids presents. All I have to do is designate a certain color for each one. That way I don't need to put names on them. And they won't know which present is theirs until I hand them out. Thanks for these cute pat
