Snowman Cover
"Okay, who doesn’t gift or receive the ever-popular tin of popcorn at Christmastime? The cylinder-shape makes it almost impossible to effectively wrap. Well, problem solved. Here’s my pattern for a super cute, quick and easy Snowman Cover. I used Bernat Blanket yarn and a 10mm hook. This is a project that can be completed in one evening. If you have empty containers, then make the cover to use as seasonal decor, fill with goodies to gift or use it to place your Christmas cards in. Lots of functional ways to use this."

Does anybody else think that the body of the snowman resembles mini marshmallows? It must be the Bernat blanket yarn. I think this is a really cute idea for upcycling that holiday popcorn tin. OR- present your tin to your friend or family member WITH this snowman ON it! A fun and kitschy craft fair offering.

This is a really clever idea. I know weve both given and received those big popcorn tins, and what to do with them when theyre empty is a bit of a problem. The thrifty side of me balks at tossing them, but you cant really re-gift them when theyre empty. This is a brilliant solution because now you can use the tin as a gift box all by itself! It would be great for odd shaped fragile ornaments, too.
