The ladies are going to be very happy to see these ornaments! I was able to pick up some very nice sparkly yarn to work the center sections so these really will look like the original Shiny Brite tree ornaments. I actually have a few that survived my childhood and various cross country moves. Well probably just work our crocheted versions as individual ornaments rather than string them along a garland.

I really like these retro Christmas Crochet Ornaments. I know I have seen a crochet afghan in the same type of "motif". It is not like I don't already have a zillion things I want to crochet, but if I could get a theme going, that would be wonderful. Thanks for the wonderful pictures.

Retro and modern at the same time. The colors the designer used brings this retro project right into the future. These are adorable tree decorations and no matter what color you use, the tree will be more attractive with them hanging from the branches.
