Thank you for this great idea. I have a lot of old faded, scratched ornaments but hate tossing them away. This will add many more years to them. And another thought struck me. As the grandmother of four, all under the ago of 8, these will be safe, since the yarn over them will help make them Unbreakable . What a great idea.

A pretty little stashbuster that can be made up in whatever color scheme matches your dcor. I love how instead of trashing used ornaments, the author has given them new life. The pattern begins pretty much as a simple granny square before continuing as rounds to create the bowl shape. There arent any step by step photos, but the instructions are clearly written. Im working this pattern over new gold and silver plastic balls, and using them as package attachments.
