What a wonderful little project. There are so many things you could do with these ginger people, and Im thinking of some sets of quiet toys for certain rowdy grandchildren. You could sew two forms together, lightly stuff, and work the edges in white to mimic icing. It might be fun to work up a little house to store them in, too.

Look at how she has decorated and dressed the gingerbread men and women. Use these appliques, many on a ribbon or twine, to create a long garland to drape on your mantle. I think the kids would love these to play with. You could make two of the same and stuff them with poly fill and it becomes a fun little holiday themed play doll! What do you think?!

I really like the idea of a mantle garland. You could also use it as a garland on a tree, too.
