Decorative Doggie Stocking

Let your pooch have some fun on Christmas morning with this Decorative Doggie Stocking. If you look closely, the picture even has this crochet Christmas stocking hanging by a leash. How fun is that? You can use different colors if you want, but I think the green and red really make this crochet Christmas stocking stick out in a nice, festive way. You'll have your pet in on all the Christmas day action, especially by having a reason to give them some new treats, food, or other accessories. My sister just got a puppy about a month ago. I think this would be so sweet for his first family Christmas. It will look so cute on their fire place. I can even embroider his name on it too. Thank you so much for offering this great project and the inspiration.

As a dedicated doggy mom, I was thrilled to see this adorable project. I love that the bottom of the stocking is actually shaped like a paw instead of just rounded out. Id been looking for a bone and paw appliqu for other projects, so Ill be experimenting with different hook sizes to see which would work best with my additional projects.

Oh I need to make this one! We love our pup and she needs a Christmas Stocking. This pattern is well written and a easy read. I think it looks so cute and unique, who has a doggie stocking like this? I will!! LOL I love the decorations of the paw print and the bone is great and I can stitch my dogs name on it. These would make a great gift to the new dog owner.. Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern that I will be making..
