"Add a bit of playfulness to your holiday season this year by giving the gift of coal! This little bag makes the perfect gag gift or Secret Santa gift. It can hold a gift card, candies, trinkets, an engagement ring for your girlfriend...whatever you can imagine! This coal bag is extremely easy to make. The only stitch you need to know is single crochet. The letters are cross stitched onto the crocheted fabric, but you have the option to cut the letters out of felt and hot glue them on or to use puff paint and write them on."

Wouldn't they all be disappointed if this was under the tree and nothing else. Here is a chance to play a gag on your little mischievous ones. You can hide something special inside and make it a treasure hunt to find the real Christmas gifts.

I generally shy away from thread projects due to dexterity issues, but many times these projects can be worked with thin yarn. This is just such a project! I routinely make ash candy at Christmas time, and this would be the perfect gift bag to package them in (I put the actual candy in a plastic baggie). Some goes into the Christmas box along with homemade jams and other candies for the family, and I keep several other packages for small emergency gifts.

Does it matter if you are naughty or nice if you get this package filled with stuff? This is a great gag gift for those mischievous little ones. They will not be able to see the contents and will be every curious to see if what is inside.
