Bell Ornament or Gift Card Holder
This adorable little bell ornament is the perfect way to deliver a gift card this holiday season! Give them a gift that they can use year after year! This pattern is very easy. You make two panels using only single crochets and crochet them together. The jingle bell gives this ornament a delicate tinkling sound and the bow adds whimsy. It's crocheted using size 5 crochet thread and a size B hook. Very little thread is needed for one bell, so you could definitely create several bells from one spool of thread.
Crochet HookB/1 or 2.25 mm hook

Crochet Gauge16 single crochet stitches and 17 rows in a 2” (10cm) square.

I was initially a little disappointed by this project. The idea is fine, but the photo of the bell itself is so plain I was hesitant to even look at the pattern. Best not to judge a book by its cover! The bell is actually worked in metallic thread which just doesnt translate well in the photo. I still dont like it as well as the designers other gift card holders but at least it makes sense now.
