Beautiful Crocheted Christmas Angel
“This is the 5th Angel in the Oombawka Design Angel Series This Crocheted Christmas Angel is crocheted with Red Heart Super Saver (medium weight) yarn; beginning at the top her head and worked in continuous rounds to the base of her skirt. You will add the wings to the back of her dress using simple whip-stitches at the end, crochet the ‘arm’ and simply insert it through the small holes in her dress you created by following the crocheting instructions and slip the crocheted halo between the stitches at the back of her head. This Angel stands on her own and she does not need to be ‘stiffened’. Her halo is designed with a thin bow wire I purchased at our local craft store, so it holds its shape and stays in place easily.”

I like this angel. It is simple and beautiful. It appears as if it is praying. I collect angels and if I can find time to make this, it is just right to let my three year old granddaughter hold it instead of one of my breakable pieces. Maybe she will want to have her own angel collection one day.

Beautiful angel that is only one of many that is part of a crochet along (CAL) for this coming holiday season. Ive made one of each style and they are all equally as pretty. I am making these to decorate my entry table for this year. I might make a few extras for my tree too.
