"These seashell shaped washcloths are made with super-soft cotton, but raised post stitches add some scrubby texture. They're a great way to brighten your decor and add a beach-y theme to bath time!"

Ive never crochet dish cloths this Scallop Seashell Washcloth is so cute, it makes me want to make a few. I have an almond color Red Heart Scrubby yarn that my mom didnt use. It says its great for dishcloths, so Im thinking this is the perfect pattern to use this perfect yarn.

This project is a little tricky because the linked page only has the text, no photos. However, if you go to the very bottom of the page, there is a link to the Part 1 tutorial which is both text AND photos. I had to do a bit of chasing to get to all the parts, but this project is so pretty and unusual, I thought it was worth my time.

After reading the comments below, I can see we are all come very creative thinkers here! The WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL as a wall hanging inside a shadow box. Another creative idea would be to make them bigger and you'd have yourself a set of pretty cotton placemats! You'd have to have the knowledge on how to change up the stitch counts. If you can do that then bravo to you!

This is a great pattern for a washcloth or dishcloth, in a shape that I haven't seen before. They would make great decor just laying on a countertop, or maybe layered in a bowl. I'm sure they would look good in other colors, maybe solids like aqua, white, or navy blue. You could match your bathroom or kitchen decor with them.

This is a very cute pattern. The colors are just the ones I would like. But instead of using these gorgeous little things as wash cloths, i want to mount them in frames and put them on the bath room wall. They will fit in so nicely with my sea theme. Thank you
