Any new parent would welcome this convenient set, especially paired with a bar of Ivory or other unscented baby wash. Be sure to make it from the softest cotton you can find and include a note to wash the set several times before use to make it even softer. You might consider making a set for the expectant grandparents, too! New parents have enough stuff to carry around without worrying about extra bath things.

This is a great project to make up for adding to a baby shower or new baby gift. They would also be great additions to a table at a craft sale, bazaar, or event. They work up quickly, and the pattern is easy to follow. You only need one skein of yarn to make a mitt and a wash cloth.
