"Who doesn’t love books? Better than books, crochet and books! This fun bookmark is a great tapestry pattern that you can make over and over for quick gifts for friends and family. This design is easy to follow and you can customize a bunch, you may never make two bookmarks the same! You may sell all finished products made from this pattern; however you may not share, sell, or distribute this pattern in any way, in whole or in part. I would greatly appreciate a link back to my shop or this pattern anytime you sell this item online."

This is a neat bookmark, and would be a great gift. My older son is all about keeping every piece of paper to use as a bookmark. I have tried to tell him it is not necessary, but he just does it anyway. I am thinking I will make him a few of these, in different colors, so he does not have to use all that paper.

This is a nice little project if you want to dip your hook into working the Tapestry technique. The designer suggests working it in #10 crochet thread, but if you just want a practice piece, work it in thin yarn with a D or E size hook. It will be bigger than your average bookmark, but Ive found that for Beginners, it is much easier to see how to carry the active and inactive yarns across the rows.
