Although I am only a beginner I loved this and wanted to make it for my friends newborn daughter, there are video tutorials which show you step by step the stitches used and so after a few practices I managed to get the hang of it. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, I will certainly be making more in a range of different colours as it works well for both winter over the top of a long sleeved t-shirt or for the summer on its own or over a vest.

This was my first project starting from the top down; some parts were a bit confusing, but I got through it and even added sleeves, and everyone thought it was adorable. I am now on my second sweater and I am already adapting it to a cardigan style, and I have plans for a dress next. Thanks for sharing.
