You have to love all things baby but when you see this Avant-garde square you'll want to make this free crochet pattern. The pink and green pastels go perfectly together but you can choose any colors you wish.

I love it. It would be avant-garde for sure in black & white. Try two colors closely related, too.

Pairing "Avant-garde" and "crochet" in the same sentence makes me laugh. Oh, I love to crochet, but an avant-garde granny square? I don't think so!

Nice design! Prefer it in a different color though, maybe instead of pink, coral/peach. I don't know. I will make it and see if I come up with a color scheme! Thanks for the pattern!

I plan on making some for the charity I work for. I'll do them in orange & black for Halloween. Then some in red, green and white for Christmas.

Don't know if I like this one or not. Maybe it would look better finished. Right now it just looks like two colors thrown together randomly. It's not doing anything for me. :(

Does nothing for me. Just looks like a misuse of leftover yarns -- even in my "hippiest" of days back in the 60s. HOWEVER, the stitch is very neat. Sorry, you asked.
