I won't be making this one. For some reason it hurts my eyes and makes me dizzy. I must really be wierd.

I love it. It would be avant-garde for sure in black & white. Try two colors closely related, too.

Pairing "Avant-garde" and "crochet" in the same sentence makes me laugh. Oh, I love to crochet, but an avant-garde granny square? I don't think so!

Nice design! Prefer it in a different color though, maybe instead of pink, coral/peach. I don't know. I will make it and see if I come up with a color scheme! Thanks for the pattern!

I plan on making some for the charity I work for. I'll do them in orange & black for Halloween. Then some in red, green and white for Christmas.

Don't know if I like this one or not. Maybe it would look better finished. Right now it just looks like two colors thrown together randomly. It's not doing anything for me. :(

I am definitely making this and maybe 2 because I have 2 friends having grandbabies this winter....can't wait to start them. Thanks so much for the free patterns...I truly love this site and it's helpfulness!!! NayNay27

Does nothing for me. Just looks like a misuse of leftover yarns -- even in my "hippiest" of days back in the 60s. HOWEVER, the stitch is very neat. Sorry, you asked.

I really like these two pastel colors together. I'm really into greens right now and this shade of green is perfect with the pink.
