Last Minute 4th of July Headband
Do you need a last minute accessory for the 4th of July or any other red white and blue holiday? Heres a great design you can make in no time! This pattern combines 2 of my previous patterns (the headband and the star) along with a simple red chain. The whole thing took me 45 minutes to make, and Im a slow knitter! The yarn weight and gauge are not critical, and the headband can be made to any size. The headband is knit, but the star and stripe are crocheted. If you do not knit, you can substitute a simple crocheted headband instead!

The fourth of July is right around the corner. This is a great last minute project to make for the family reunions and cookouts. It works up in no time and can be made with yarn leftovers. Uh oh. One major thing I noticed though is that this is listed as a crochet project and you even give the hook size on this page as crochet hook H but if you look at the picture and read the instructions, it is knit.
