"We love to crochet granny squares! They are pretty, fun and easy to carry around. The thing is, when we started this blog we promised we would ONLY post garments up that we love (and that we would wear on a regular basis). However to be honest….sometimes we don’t always love granny square outfits! While they can look super cool and retro, there are other times when granny square garments can appear too craftsy and not quite as modern as we personally like in our designs. However we really love The Floral Granny Square Easy Crochet Top. It’s pretty much made entirely from granny squares and although we kept ours pretty simple with the blue and white, you could add more color for a summery vibe. We also kept ours cropped at the waist but with this made to measure pattern you can make yours longer, wider and more oversized! The Floral Granny Square Easy Crochet Top is a sleeveless top that is perfect for the warmer months. The top is made from crochet granny squares and the straps are adjustable and tied on top. A crochet flower is added to both straps.
