Quick and easy way to do some last minute decorating for Thanksgiving Day feast and family get together. Each leaf uses just a small amount of yarn. Great stash busters. Easy enough for the beginner yet quick enough for the experienced hooker that they won't get bored. A light spray of water and blocking is probably necessary. You can bundle and use for a magnet as shown, or just scatter around the table runner for mealtime interests.

This is so seasonal looking that I wouldnt confine it to just a mere Fridgie. My senior ladies would love making this up as a brooch. They all seem to love making just about any kind of brooch so they can show off their crochet skills. A few of them make extras for their church or other social group, too. Thanks for finding this versatile little project.

I certainly have to try to make these. I grew up in Vermont but moved to Florida many years ago. Every autumn I get so home sick to see the different trees bursting with colors. If I go back to see them, i will never go back to Florida. There we have two colors, green and dead. This way I can have colored leaves year around in my kitchen. Thank you for sharing.

I can't wait to make some of these. I tried to make some last night but there seems to be something wrong with Row 3. I don't come out with as many leaf points as your picture shows. I get the 2 on the top and only one on each side where your pictures shows 2 on each side. Maybe there is an error in the pattern. Please correct if so or maybe I am not following the pattern correctly. Thank you, Lillian P.S. they are adorable and very fast and easy to make.
