I will say, I really like the look of this hooded cape, or capelette! It can be used for a Halloween costume, yes, but why limit yourself to that? I would make one using a pretty metallic silver or gold on a black colored yarn and it would be suitable for evening wear. Wear a cool pair of skinny jeans and your heels, and you are good to go. I did not think it would be so easy to make, but reading the instructions it makes perfect sense. She consistently gives us EASY patterns that look very impressive.
