Add a little fleece and glamor to your look with this Easy Peasy Ruffled Crochet Scarf. Just one ball of Boutique Fleecy is needed to make this crochet scarf pattern. Any little girl or grown woman will love strutting her stuff in this new design. This is an easy crochet pattern to work up and different from most as the yarn has holes in it to work up, also known as a track. If you don't finish the scarf in one sitting be careful when putting it down as it can easily unravel.

Easy

Crochet Hook: J/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight: (6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)

Materials:

  • RED HEART ® Boutique Fleecy™: 1 ball 9933 Berry Graphic
  • Susan Bates® Crochet Hook: 6mm [US J-10]
  • Sewing needle and matching thread

Scarf Measures:
50” (127 cm) long X 3” (7.6 cm) wide

Note: This scarf is very easy to unravel. To save yourself from disappointment, have a safety pin at hand. Whenever you want to put down your project, pin the last stitch so it will not unravel next time you pick it up.

Pattern:

SCARF
Beginning 6” (15 cm) from the raw edge, insert hook into the top hole of the ribbon. (Skip the next hole, ch1) 5 times.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Place a marker on the first sc. Sc in each of next 3 ch. Ch1. Turn.
Row 2: Sc in each sc across. Place marker on first sc. Ch1, turn.
Repeat row 2 for desired length, leaving a 6” (15 cm) tail.
Finishing
Thread the sewing needle and stitch through the last loop of the last row, securing it in place. Tuck the loose end between the nearest two ruffles and sew it in place. Repeat for other end, securing first loop and beginning end.
