Charisma Infinity Scarf
"I used the color Colonial blue from Vanna's Choice and loved the outcome. It took me less than three skeins. It would look great in light colors too as the stitch pattern would pop more. I finished the scarf in one day and took me about 6 hours of crocheting. A 5.5 mm hook was used which made it grow fast. The scarf is made flat and then the ends are slip stitched together in a way that keeps the seam invisible on the right side. The flower is worked flat too and then rolled in to shape. "

I appreciate that the designer has chosen to work the entire project in a single color, but that big floppy rosette got me thinking in another direction. How pretty would this be in a soft green with an antique mauve colored rose? Or even work the basic scarf in white, and make interchangeable motifs instead of the flower? I found a stunning poinsettia on this site I would love to pair with this scarf.
