All The Colors Cowl

search

"This cowl is quite simple to make – it does take a little bit of time because the entire pattern is crocheted using a bobble stitch (also called a puff stitch) and single crochet. The fabric is soft and squishy and full of texture. You can wear it folded in half (as photographed) or as a single layer. I love how the levels of color are shown more dramatically when you fold it in half but if you are using a solid yarn it will look squishy and soft worn as a single layer."

I have been wanting to do a project with the new self-striping yarns, but am a little intimidated by some of the patterns I have seen. This project looks pretty easy to do and to follow along with. In the material list, it calls for Caron Cakes yarn, but I only have a couple skeins of the Sweet Rolls. I am going to try it with the Sweet Rolls yarn and see what I get.

Oh my I love the colors in this All the Colors Cowl. The written pattern is easy to understand and follow and I like that she has pictures to show how to do the Bobble stitch. The yarn she used us a soft yarn so I'm sure this will be nice and warm and soft to wear. I'm thinking of after making mine to whip stitch the cowl in half so it can stay in place to look like the picture. I love this bobble stitch cowl and will look forward to wearing it. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I love how bright and cheerful this cowl is! I'd wear this with a plain white tee to really make it the focal point of the outfit.
