OMG! Did you see the embellishment project using these Irish crochet flowers. I love these down the pant leg of the designers blue jeans. Talk about designer jeans! I just love it.

I am not so sure that I agree with the easy for the skill level of this pattern, but how can I resist such a beautiful flower. With such details, crocheted with cotton crochet thread this will make any simple item that much more elegant. All the required stitches are easy enough so I may be able to complete this with a little effort.

Ooooh, how pretty these flowers are going to be when I use them to create a table runner for the holidays. Because- they DO look like winter snowflakes. And that is what they are going to be for me. We can take a pattern and adapt it to your own style and your own needs and it is not wrong- rather, it is called being creative and showing your imagination!

I was thinking the same as JaneEK below about this being a 6 pointed snowflake. But if it's a Irish Crochet Flower then it's a flower. LOL I like how easy this one works out and the written pattern is well done and reads well. I was thinking that this would make a great garlin for the Christmas tree. I have saved this one and will come back to it later. Thank you for sharing this free crochet flower pattern.

Im not exactly sure why this is called a flower when its clearly a six pointed snowflake. The project calls for #10 crochet thread which I have tons of since thats also what I use for needle tatting. This designer is one of the most amazing appliqu designers, so although I wont be working this up anytime soon, this project is definitely going into my files.
