Simple Mesh Mug Rug
"As Springtime approaches and the cold-weather crocheting slows down, it’s great to have a quick & easy pattern on the ready to make when you have some time to crochet, but don’t want a big heavy blanket as a WIP. Am I right? Enter the Simple Mesh Mug Rug pattern. You can also call it the Simple Mesh Coaster pattern. Which do you prefer?? Mesh: Stitch pattern made using Rows 1-7. (Chain any even number. In 2nd ch from hook, sc, *ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch* repeat across, ending with sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc of previous row, *ch 1, sk ch space, sc in next sc* repeat across, ending with sc in last sc of previous row.)"
Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge16 st x 9 rows = 4” x 4” square (not blocked)
Stitch used to obtain gauge = mesh stitch as described below
