Football Wine Cozy
"Great ready for the big game with this quick Football Wine Cozy. Take it to the next potluck. Makes a great gift or it is nice to keep for yourself! The football wine cozy is easy to make with 2 strands of worsted weight brown yarn and a J size crochet hook. Use some worsted weight white yarn from your stash for the lacing detail. This project is easy to finish in an evening! Fits an average bottle of wine or similar sized bottle."
Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

What a novel idea, this football themed wine cozy. Wine drinking is a big deal in my small city, but so is beer. But wine- I think a LOT of ladies that I know would love something like this on their table for their parties or even for dinner. Of course, it is made doubling up on your strands for durability and strength to hold that bottle. Cute!

I live in a university town so I dont really think of football and fine wine going together. But for the sake of this project Im willing to suspend disbelief especially with the Super Bowl around the corner. Ive made some of the other wine cozies Ive found on here, but never thought about a football theme. This is a very easy project, and I also love how the handle is integrated into the bag itself.

For the classy lady to take to a super bowl party. Let the guys have their beer kegs, but most sophisticated ladies like their wine and this is a great way to carry your bottle to your next tail gate or super bowl party. It will definitely class up the party.
