Day at the Spa Washcloth

"Luxurious enough for the spa, easy enough that you can whip up this washcloth before a relaxing soak in the tub. Made with a half double crochet v-stitch, this beautiful washcloth has great texture and flexibility. It is a great pattern for beginners looking to expand their skills. A set of these washcloths would also make a lovely housewarming or wedding gift. They are also great for restocking your craft fair table! Use 100% cotton yarn for maximum durability and absorbancy."

I am not really sure where I stand on the crochet wash cloths. The house that I grew up in we would tend to use a wash cloth for a while before tossing it in the wash. My husband grew up with this same practice. However, I know that some people will get a fresh cloth daily. This type of cotton takes a time to dry between use and I wonder just how sanitary it is. Come to think of it, probably not as much as the other practice but at least the cloth will fully try between use.

Interesting. When I look up the color for greige, I get that by definition that it is the color of day old oatmeal, not this "shade of gray". I guess this is Lily Sugar 'n Cream version of the shade. It is always fun to learn something new when I cruise the pages of All Free Crochet.

I would love to spend a day at a spa, but my bank account says stay home girl. So, instead I love to make spa clothes and give myself a pampering day. This pattern is so easy to make. I love how the choice of stitching gives the cloth a nice texture that is perfect for exfoliating.

What an elegant and neat washcloth. You feel like you don't want this piece not get soiled at all. It is so nice to use. Will also look beautiful in bright colors/

I find there is nothing better then washing my face with a homemade crocheted washcloth. This Day at the Spa Washcloth sounds like another one to create for my collection. The pattern is well written with a nice video showing how to do the V stitch. So easy and quick to make and will be a nice thing to give as a house warming gift.. Love cotton for face cloths. Looking forward to making this one. Thank you for sharing this free crochet washcloth pattern.

After the week weve had, I feel like I need a day at the spa myself. Instead, I just might relax and work this up while catching up on the latest episodes of Poldark. This pattern creates a generously sized cloth, and is unisex enough that Im making one for my husband as well as another for myself. And whats with that color? Im sticking with ecru and khaki.
