Easy Crochet Mug Cozy
"Give your mug a hug this holiday season with these cute festive mug cozies! Very cute and keeps your hands safe while holding your mug. Great for yourself and to give as gifts! This pattern features the front post double crochet stitch to give the cozy some great texture! This pattern also used medium worsted weight cotton (I used Lily Sugar'n Cream) and size G crochet hook. You will also need a large button (about 1- 1 1/4") for the closure. Enjoy the pattern!"

This quick and easy mug cozy is the perfect project for gifts or a craft sale. They require minimal amounts of yarn, so they can easily be made in batches. Their one size fits all approach means that you dont have to worry about fitting a specific type of cup or mug. Although its designed for something with a handle, you could wrap it around one without just as well.

I do believe my favorite mug cozy is the red, white, and green version. That is classic Christmas! To kick it up a notch as far as the holiday spirit, how about using novelty holiday buttons like a tree, a snowman, or a reindeer? The upside the the regular buttons being used it that these cozies will be suitable for use for the entire winter months.
