What a beautiful curtain pattern! I want to do something like this for the windows in my new house once we move! I will have to wait to see how big I will need to make them, and what color I want them! I have so many decorating ideas, I cant wait to get them all started!

I am currently working on crochet curtain panels for our very large balcony sliding glass doors. I am using worsted weight cotton yarn and it is taking me forever to make because the door is so large. The pattern on these curtains is beautiful and so dainty made with the thread. I dont think I would ever have the time to make these.

I know not a thing about crocheting curtains made from crochet thread. I am trying to figure out what "rapports" are. I took a stab at it, and I am thinking they are the spaces created through which the curtain rod gets inserted. These are heirloom quality, stunning and beautiful. A very light blush or dusty rose would be equally as stunning, don't you think? This is an involved pattern, so you'll have to really focus to keep your place. Good luck to you!

REPLY Google is a wonderful search tool for anything you dont know the answer too. Yes, even crochet terms. Rapport of pattern - it's primary repeating part of the pattern. Rapport of pattern has a certain number of loops in width and an even number of rows in height.
