This is beautiful. When my boys were babies, we just wrapped them up in a blanket. This is certainly a beautiful piece and practical to boot. With or without the hat, this will be one of those pieces a new or experienced Mom will appreciate.

This baby cocoon is so cute. Looking over the pictures the designer included it's almost a shame to "close it up" into a cocoon shape as the circle design would make a beautiful blanket. I love that a hat was included. The use of the chevron stitch created a one of a kind piece.
