This crochet Cow Rattle is so cute. It looks easy enough to whip up but I'm a little concerned about the rattle inserts. I looked them up on Amazon and they look like small plastic cubes with beads inside. Not sure I want to buy these? Has anyone bought these and are what I think they are? I was thinking of using small jingle bells for the rattling sounds, since I already have them. I'm going to give this one a try for the little one next door to me. Thank you for sharing this free crochet rattle pattern.

I was actually thinking that the designer had worked the project around an already existing circular rattle, but thats not how shes done it at all. The entire project is stuffed, not just the animal head. I did look at the rattle inserts she recommends on Amazon, but Im still a bit confused. She really needs to post a video about this and her other soft rattles.

Oh my goodness, this is the cutest little baby toy I have seen in forever. I am looking for different items to make for my sister, who is due in October. This rattle would be perfect, especially since I have the time to make it! The pattern is easy to follow, which will make it easy to whip up in just an evening.
