This is a lovely design, but I swear Ive seen it before only in coaster form. I did a quick Google search and the only project I found was this dishcloth. I must be hallucinating. That or I look at so many crochet projects that Im bound to get them confused. Now that Im sure I dont already have this pattern, I will absolutely be adding it to my collection. I love how tight and polished the stitching looks.

These sun catcher dish cloths are amazing! I am thinking I could make a bunch and they could be easy gifts to have on hand. They would make a great face cloth, and you could add them to a spa set as a unique gift for someone. You could make them in different colors and use them admission coasters also.

These are splendid! I've had soooo many ideas for them already! I can see ones sprinkled as doilies through out my seasonal decor in the appropriate colors. I can see them stitched up and added to a basket with homemade soap as a thank you gift. I can see them in white adorning wedding tables or prom tables in the appropriate colors. I'm so glad they're designated "easy" and it'll be fun trying cotton yarn! And oh no I could never use them as dish cloths as they'll never be the same again!

These Sun Catcher Dishcloths are so beautiful, it an pass as coasters. I think I'm gonna do this as a coaster. I really love the design which will look very inviting and beautiful on a the dining table. Can't wait to make them.

I actually thought they WERE coasters. I'm going to check my pattern library because I'm almost positive there are some coasters with this same name.

This was quick to make. The pattern did throw me off on round 4. The beginning shows 2sc in same sp, sc in next st, but then it is 2sc in same sp, 1 sc in next 2 sts for the repeats. It should say 2sc in same sp, 1 sc in next 2 sts at the beginning of the round as well. Sometimes the designer uses sp, sometimes st. Some of the places she uses sp are not a space at all, but she means to make your stitch in the same stitch you are in. It can be a bit disorienting, but once you realize what is meant things move quickly. I used worsted and a 5.5mm hook. My dishcloth is 8 inches in diameter.

THese are so darn pretty! I am loving the circular design versus a square block. These are dainty and lacy looking. It is said that they can be made using either acrylic OR cotton yarns. In the past, I had read that acrylic yarns will stink and never quite dry. So, I'm apprehensive about using acrylics for these dishcloths.

This Sun Catcher Dishcloth is so cute! The pattern is well written and easy to follow. I like my dishcloths a little bigger so I'll be making a few more rounds for mine. I'll also be using 100% cotton yarn for mine. These will make for great house warming gifts or even to give to the new bride. I'll be making a lot of these cute dishcloths in different colors to give away and keep. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Sure. This Sun Catcher Dishcloth is so beautiful, it suits a neat and clean kitchen. You will not be embarrassed to have your used dishcloths lying around your kitchen if they are as neat and presentable as these ones. You may also make these dishcloths bigger if you want, also in any solid or variegated yarns to match the color of your kitchen motif. Yes, the dishcloths are great gifts for a housewife, a great cook, or for anyone who loves to stay in the kitchen longer.
