I was surprised at how this item was constructed. I would never have thought to crochet an article of clothing in this fashion with this type of "yarn". I have never worked with the Sashay yarn but I am really interested in using it now. Thanks for all of the videos to show how to make this Sashay Ruffle skirt.

This sashay ruffle skirt is really adorable. I With the dense crochet, I am not sure it would be a comfortable skirt to wear during the warmer months but with some tights or stretch pants it would work well into the fall and winter months.

This skirt is so adorable. Little girls love to wear fun stuff like this especially when they play dress up. I have never worked with the Sashay yarns so this will be a new challenge for me to tackle. The pattern look very easy and those video tutorials help tremendously. Should have no problems with this.

A splendid idea for a really pretty skirt. Since I have some leftovers of this yarn, I will give it a try. But it does not look easy, at all... Hopefully, I'll manage it. I will be doing it for a 4-year old girl, who cannot tie a knot. Has anyone of you tried it with elastic band or something similar as the replacement for the ribbon?

I like the look of this skirt and my daughter really loves it and wants me to make one for her but the link to the pattern takes you to a blog which says 'page does not exist' does anyone know a link to the pattern or a similar pattern for a ruffle skirt?

Hi there craftedbyfox, The blogger moved stuff around on her sites, but I found the correct link! I've corrected it above, so you should be good to go. Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

The instructions are clear. However, It takes to long to have to make the skirt. Then go and add Sashay yarn to finish garment. If you would like to see one. I made. I will leave my link at the bottom. I madhttp://www.pinterest.com/pin/333055334915960019 == /e the skirt and added the ruffles in each stitch. I have another but I added the sashay to the skirt after I finished the garmey said it took him 7 hours to put on the ruffles.

There is no download...scroll down past the two videos and the written instructions are right there on the page. I believe the download you keep trying to click is an ad?

I went to the page and I scrolled down below the PDF reader download, and its at about the middle of the page.

i couldn't find a reply

I have downloaded thpdf reader and still can't down the pattern?

I have tried to download this several times and it will not. It just keeps taking me to the page to download the pdf reader, which I have done and it tells me I have already done it. Help??

sorry maybe if you use a single color and for a 3 yr old for dance class yuck

Sooooo cute!! I'm going to try to make this in a size 6 for my niece.

this is pretty cute. i might have to make some for my cousins girls

For an adult, follow the pattern, but measure your waist then crochet chains that measure the length of your waist, the rest of the pattern follow but it will just be larger.
