I am really confused about the product used for this necklace. I did a search for Trellis Ribbon and what I found looks a lot like the Red Heart Sashay yarn. I have no idea if this is correct, but this is the closest I could find. And it would definitely work because unless you expand the mesh, you basically have a ribbon. My sister bought some at Dollar Tree for me. I have to confess, Id probably rather use it for the necklace than trying to work a scarf.

A friend gave me three or four bundles of this type ribbon because" you crochet." Which is code for, you can use anything to crochet with I guess. I tossed it in a junk drawer figuring I would never use it, and never saw any patterns using it. Thank you for sharing this.

"Trellis" yarn was manufactured by Lion Brand Yarns but it has been discontinued. Might be able to find some on eBay or Amazon. Other companies might still have a similiar type available. It's more like ribbon then yarn and is known as a railroad yarn because it looks like railroad tracks when laid flat.

Not to mention, this is good for fashion use. I like the different bead style. Cheers, Debbie of snuffnecklace.com

I am currently using Trellis (or Ladder as it is often called) yarn to work up a scarf. It makes up beautiful. But don't expect to go quick without looking. Your hook can get caught in the spaces very easy if you are not paying attention.
