Beautiful Beaded Necklace

Beautiful Beaded Necklace

Take your crochet skills out on the town with this Beautiful Beaded Necklace. It's simple enough to comfortably wear at home, but nice enough to wear out and about if you want. The beads add a nice touch and break up the yarn so that you have an elegantly simple crochet necklace pattern. Make a statement with your jewelry by making it yourself and working up this beautiful beaded necklace crochet pattern.

Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

  • Premier Yarns City Life: Corsage (1 ball)
  • Crochet Hook (Size H/8, 5 mm)
  • 10 Glass Beads

Ch 10 = 4"

String the beads onto the yarn. You will need to push the beads along the length of the yarn as you work, so that they are not blocking the yarn you need to crochet with. Chain 20. On the next chain, pull a bead close to the hook before making the stitch, and crochet using the yarn above it. Repeat this until all beads have been used. Chain 20. Slip stitch into the first chain to form a loop, fasten off. You now have a very large loop that can be wrapped around the neck multiple times to form a multi layer necklace.

You cant get an easier jewelry project than this one. Just string on some beads and start making a chain. Im going to bookmark this one for my youngest granddaughters as well as my seniors. I have some fun animal beads for the kids, and more chunky ones for the adults. Its always nice to have a skills project that actually results in a finished product.
