I have learned to work up several pouches like these because Im either leaving them behind in coffee shops or fishing them out from between couch cushions. We have a lot of problems with the Fairie Folk pulling pranks, so Ive taken to working these up in the brightest colored yarn I can find. That makes these pouches easier for old people to see and harder for the wee folk to hide.

Here is an example of one of those quickie crochet projects that you can work up at the very last minute. Especially good for when you want to show up at your girlfriend's house for wine and a gab fest, and you want to bring her something a little extra. I think it is a cute idea, and you could make several of these in a bunch of different solids, stripes, and variegated yarns.
