"This is my crochet doll base pattern! This doll is made without clothes, but you can crochet clothes for it afterwards, or crochet the doll with clothes on. Note that unless you are using super thin yarn to make clothes for your doll, the clothes will be thick and will not be very good quality. I recommend using cloth to sow some clothes, or just make the clothes into the doll. I used acrylic size 4 peach color yarn, and a size 4.5mm hook. This pattern will work with any size hook and yarn, this is just what I used."

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Any yarn color of choice (Skin color)
Fiberfill Stuffing
Black Amigurumi Safety Eyes
Scissors
3.5mm Crochet Hook

Legs (make 2)

Legs (make 2) Ch 7 Rnd 1: 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 3 chs, 2 sc in next ch. Now working on other side of chain, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next 3 chs, 2 sc in last ch (16) Rnd 2: In BLO: Sc around (16) Rnd 3: 4 sc, 4 dec, 4 sc (12) Rnd 4: 3 sc, 3 dec, 3 sc (9) Rnd 5: 4 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc (8) Rnd 6-13 (7 rnds): Sc around (8) Stuff both legs. Fasten off first leg, but do not fasten off the second. Now continue with body on second leg.

Body and Head

Ch 2 on second leg Rnd 14: Sc 8 on first leg, (make sure feet line up) sc 2 on ch 2, sc 8 on second leg, sc 2 on other side of ch 2 (20) Rnd 15-18 (4 rnds): Sc around (20) Rnd 19: 4 sc, 1 dec, 8 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc (18) Rnd 20: 3 sc, 1 dec, 7 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc (16) Stuff body and continue to crochet, but be careful not to have stuffing in your stitches Rnd 21: Sc around (16) Rnd 22: (2 sc, 1 dec) 4x (12) Now we will crochet the arms on Rnd 23: 2 sc, 3 sc through arm and body sts, 3 sc, 3 sc through arm and body sts, 1 sc (12) Rnd 24: 6 dec (6) Rnd 25: 6 inc (12) Rnd 26: (1 sc, 1 inc) x6 (18) Rnd 27: (2 sc, 1 inc) x6 (24) Rnd 28: (3 sc, 1 inc) x6 (30) Rnd 29-32 (4 rnds): Sc around (30) Insert safety eyes between rnds 30 and 31. Embroider nose between rnds 29 and 30 with peach yarn. Embroider eyelashes and stuff. Rnd 33: (3 sc, 1 dec) x6 (24) Rnd 34: (2 sc, 1 dec) x6 (18) Rnd 35: (1 sc, 1 dec) x6 (12) Stuff again Rnd 36: 6 dec (6) Fasten off and weave in ends
