"This baby penguin is easy, and super cute! He is great for a boy or girl. The young at heart can appreciate him as well. His head and body are done in one piece. There is one color change and some increasing and decreasing."

What a cute "fuzzy" crochet baby penguin. Looking at the pattern, I can tell the designer put a lot of effort into the directions. They are very clear and the pictures also help. It works up into a pretty good size to be a "baby". I love it.

This sweet little darling is one of the easiest amigurumi patterns to follow. Only one color change, and very little detailing. The designer includes several photos along with the written instructions. She does mention a particular Bernat yarn that has been recalledIm wondering if the Pipsqueek yarn might not work instead. And a wonderful idea about adapting the pattern to make it a baby chick instead.

Oh how cute is this Crochet Baby Penguin Amigurumi? Way to cute! I so have to make this one! After reading and saving the pattern I have to say it will come out great! The yarn called for in the pattern for the fuzzy parts is not available any more, after reading all the comments, someone suggested using fun fur, and I think it will look better.. I'm looking forward to making this cutie! Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
