Small Bow

search

"A cute and pretty small bow pattern for you to crochet, they are great to make and can be used to adorn anything ie household things, shoulder bags, headbands, baby coats, blankets etc. Add a clip to the back and use it as a hair clip or a child’s brooch. It works up in a matter of minutes, and is an ideal crochet pattern for the beginner crocheter too. The bow measures approximately 1 Inch x 2.5 Inches, though you could use a thicker yarn and larger hook than I have used if you want to make it bigger."

I love this clever little project! Because you are continually slip stitching in the center of each row, you are automatically creating an indentation in the row. The result is less fabric to gather in the middle, making for a much neater bow. No more pleating, so its a lot less bulky in the center of the bow. It makes a real difference when youre working small bows.

These are so pretty and perfect for a little touch of color and cuteness! I think they would be especially adorable on baby sweaters or headbands.

Tiny little bows like these make great embellishment pieces. You can add them to your accessories for a totally different look. Sew them on to your plain premade stretchy headbands, scarfs, bags, or even your doggies collar. They are so simple and easy to make and a great way to use up extra yarn.

I think bows are so sweet and feminine. They instantly add a bit of polish. The lavender bow is definitely my favorite.
